Jemma graduated from The Manchester Metropolitan University with a 1st Class (Hons) degree in Speech and Language Therapy in 2011. Since then, Jemma has practiced within local authority, NHS and independent services across London and the South East.
As a highly specialist therapist, Jemma has built a wealth of knowledge and experience in supporting the communication needs of individuals with autism, learning difficulties, social, emotional and mental health difficulties in schools, residential settings, and youth offending services.
As an active member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists, she contributes her knowledge and experience to developing guidelines and learning materials for the wider profession. Jemma is passionate about raising awareness of the link between communication difficulties and behaviour.
Jemma is skilled at working within a multi-disciplinary team to see the individual as whole, exploring ways that speech and language therapy can contribute collaboratively towards remediation and rehabilitation.
