Iden Manor Nursing Home
A 51-bed nursing and dementia care home situated in 15 acres of landscaped grounds and woodland situated in Kent.
Orchard House is a five-bed residential care home located in a residential neighbourhood of Redhill, Surrey. Orchard House offers care and support for single gender service users recovering from complex and enduring mental illness, learning disabilities, brain injury or sensory impairment with a mental health diagnosis; they have been assessed as being well enough to live safely within the community with support from a skilled care team.
Orchard House offers care and support for females, who are deemed ready for discharge from hospital, or have been in a long-term care setting, but requiring a period of support and supervision as they aim to make the transition back into the community.
We aim to promote independence and choice for all our service users; we achieve this by encouraging and promoting each service user’s individuality, right to self- expression and right to make informed choices.
We work closely with residents’ family members, community mental health and primary health care professionals, to support residents to regain their independence and develop daily living skills in areas such as self-care, managing finances, shopping, planning and preparing meals, house cleaning and maintenance, managing communication, managing medication, pursuing recreational interests, engaging in community activities and individual goal setting.
At Orchard House we always welcome feedback from our residents, their carers or families, commissioning bodies and stakeholders.
In the first instance we encourage you to speak to a member of our team who will seek to resolve any concerns informally. If this is not possible all feedback will be dealt with in confidence and in a sensitive manner; please be assured that this will not adversely affect the quality of care that the individual providing feedback will receive.
We welcome feedback from our stakeholders to continuously improve our service by listening and learning.
In the first instance all complaints should be referred to the Registered Manager of the Home. If you are not satisfied with the response you have received or wish to take the matter further, you may complain directly to the General Manager of the Whitepost Health Care Group at the address below.

If you are looking for a role as a Support Worker or Volunteer we welcome applications from candidates who have relevant qualifications and transferable experience or skills. Formal qualifications are not essential as training will be given; f we see in you the right attitude and motivation to learn, then we can train you in the skills needed to deliver excellent care and set you up in a career with lifelong opportunities.
We welcome candidates who have a qualification in care such as NVQ 2 or 3 or a professional qualification that is relevant to our care setting.

References will be required, evidencing work history going back a minimum of three years and we will need to undertake police checks by way of a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service)
