Support Worker - Learning Disabilities

Shrewsbury Court Independent Hospital - all interviews will be held via a video call.
We are looking for Support Workers to provide physical and psychological support to patients supported by a team of nurses and support workers. You will have demonstrable experience of working within a challenging behaviour setting. You would be required to work shifts rotating day and night shifts flexibly across the 7 day week. Up to £10.70 per hour - 36 hours per week

Occupational Therapist - Mental Health

Shrewsbury Court Independent Hospital - all interviews will be held via a video call.
We’re looking for an experienced Mental Health Occupational Therapist to join our team, working individually and in groups with our adult patients who currently have complex mental health needs and co morbidities. You will manage your own caseload and will be working across our male and female service, providing specialist assessment and treatment to patients with a range of moderate to complex mental health conditions. Duties will include care-coordinating and attending MDT meetings; contributing to the holistic assessment of physical and mental wellbeing needs; assessment, negotiation, agreement, planning and facilitating interventions of individual patients needs and monitoring their progress £28,000 up to £32,000 per annum – 37.5 hours per week

Consultant Psychiatrist/Responsible Clinician Learning Disabilities/Autism

Shrewsbury Court Independent Hospital - all interviews will be held via a video call.
We want to find an exceptional Responsible Clinician with Learning Disability and Autism experience and experience of working within a challenging behaviour setting. You will have provision of continuing clinical and professional responsibility for an allocated number of patients within Shrewsbury Court Independent Hospital. To include holding Responsible Clinician responsibility under the Mental Health Act 1983 for detained patients. You will be required to provide support and advice to nursing staff and hospital management on clinical issues. The role holder will be working in close liaison with other consultant teams and services within the hospital as well as having continuing responsibility for the care of patients. You will have an excellent knowledge of Clinical Governance and regulatory requirements. £89,600 pro rata – (0.6 WTE) 24 hours per week.

We are looking for RNLDs to work in our busy professional team Full Time / Part Time /Bank hours - all interviews will be held via a video call. Applicants should be able to demonstrate good leadership skills and be committed to delivering high quality care and treatment. Applicants must have a valid NMC Pin Number. Full Time 37.5 hours per week - up to £18.30 per hour depending on experience, plus an additional Learning Disabilities allowance

Relevant Experience

If you are looking for a role as a RMN, Support Worker, Therapy Support Worker, or want to work in our Occupational Therapy, Social Work, Psychology, Activities, Administration, Maintenance, Catering or Housekeeping departments, we welcome applications from candidates who have relevant qualifications and transferable experience or skills.
For Support Workers, Catering Assistants and Domestic Assistants, formal qualifications are not essential as training will be given. If we see in you the right attitude and motivation to learn, then we can train you in the skills needed to deliver excellent care and set you up in a career with lifelong opportunities.

Relevant Qualifications

All our nurses must be NMC registered, as must professionals within the multidisciplinary team, who will be expected to be registered with their particular professional body.
