Get involved with rewarding patient care at Shrewsbury Court Independent Hospital and challenge yourself in a friendly and supportive environment.
Working in health care is a vocation. It can provide you with tremendous job satisfaction and also flexibility. But you need to be the right kind of person; genuinely caring, respectful, patient and interested in people and their development – particularly in vulnerable people and the challenges they may have experienced in life.
At Shrewsbury Court Independent Hospital we pride ourselves on having the very best staff who place our patients and residents at the heart of everything we do. We have a commitment to excellence, favourable employment terms and – arguably above everything else – we respect and value each other and work together as a team.
Respectful, patient and genuinely interested in people – who they are, what they’ve done, what they like and what they want for their future.
If you are looking for a role as a RMN, Support Worker, Therapy Support Worker, or want to work in our Occupational Therapy, Social Work, Psychology, Activities, Administration, Maintenance, Catering or Housekeeping departments, we welcome applications from candidates who have relevant qualifications and transferable experience or skills.
For Support Workers, Catering Assistants and Domestic Assistants, formal qualifications are not essential as training will be given. If we see in you the right attitude and motivation to learn, then we can train you in the skills needed to deliver excellent care and set you up in a career with lifelong opportunities.
All our nurses must be NMC registered, as must professionals within the multidisciplinary team, who will be expected to be registered with their particular professional body.
We’re looking for individuals that are cheerful, positive, patient, encouraging, happy, enthusiastic - we put patient and resident needs at the heart of everything we do.
References will be required, evidencing work history going back a minimum of three years and we will need to undertake police checks by way of a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service)
